Nicki Minaj Gets Own Drink, Thornton Dishes on PussyCatDolls, and R.Kelly's Still Trapped in the Closet

There's been a lot of news happening in the world of fame and fortune. From drink deals to shoot outs, and R&B crooners still being stuck in closets. Here's just a catch up of all the news that's happened this week.

 Rapper Nicki Minaj has signed a multimillion-dollar deal with Pepsi to endorse their new drink called Pop. Minaj isn't the only one from the Cash Money/Young Money camp. Lil Wayne already premiered his DEWweezy campaign at his SXSW showcase. Exact amounts of what the deals are worth have not been revealed. The video is set to premiere in the next two months. If you thought R.Kelley's epic hip-opera Trapped in the Closet series was finally over, then you were wrong. The R&B singer has revealed that there are 32 more chapters of “Trapped in the Closet”. R.Kelly has dropped a trailer to prepare fans for what’s in store. Of course Kelly features in the new episodes which will be premiered by IFC. Watch the trailer below to see what's in store! Melody Thornton revealed in a recent interview that she and former band mate Nichole Scherzinger haven't spoken since last year. The former Pussycat doll dishes on why her group split and her new mixtape P.Y.O.B.L. (ThisIs50)

Young Money rapper Tyga and his entourage were shot at while touring in Omaha, Nebraska. The rapper was performing in the city when he confronted audience members who threw items on the stage. The altercation continued after the concert were shots were aimed at  Tyga and his group as they got into their tour bus. Two were injured in the incident, including rapper Honey Cocaine who is expected to make a full recovery. <Missinfo>
