I honestly didn't care when I heard the news that Lady GaGa was creating a new fragrance. She was just joining in the likes of celebs like as Rihanna and Beyonce who decided to take their shot in the fragrance business. It wasn't until I actually saw the ad for GaGa's fragrance Fame in magazine that I became interested. The photo looks like it'd be the cover of her next album, or even a photo shoot for some artsy magazine, but for a perfume? No. Who wants to smell like dirty, naked men have been crawling over your body? I'm sure even truly dedicated Monsters wouldn't want to go around smelling like dirt. So when I saw the new bottle sitting on the perfume counter in a department store this weekend, I had to take a look.

If you're going to be living with roommates, whether in a dorm or in an apartment, there are some general rules you need to know and follow to avoid any horrible roommate experiences.

Get to Know Them
You're going to be living with this person for the next year, so you might as well get to know her now.  It's okay if you don't instantly click. Just building a foundation with your roommate will make it easier to talk about any issues you two will have. Always be sure to get your roommates contact information in case you need to reach them.

For some reason everyone seems to think that I'm the go to girl for advice. Whether it's asking me what I think about an outfit, or getting their dog neutered , people seem to come to me for answers. This time I was playing relationship counselor for a guy that I didn't even know. We'll just call him Chris.

That morning Chris rode the bus to meet his girlfriend,*Tracy. He used a stranger's phone to let her know that he was running late. When he had finally got there, Tracy went crazy, calling him all kinds of names and accusing him of cheating with another girl. Turns out, she’d called the number back, and was angry that a woman had answered. She claimed that he and that girl had to be creeping around. This fight only added to a list of complaints he already had. He could never get his point across when they spoke, she didn’t want him to have any female friends (or hang out with any of his friends for that matter) and didn’t seem to trust him. I knew Tracy wasn’t just throwing these accusations out of the blue. There had to be a reason she was acting this way. I was right. He had cheated on her about a year ago.
