"We Can't Stop" by Miley Cyrus has been stuck in my head for a moment. To relieve the stress of the song-bug in my ear, I played the song one more time before I went to bed. I woke up the next morning still singing the tune. What's wrong with me? I saw the trashy video of "We Can't Stop" weeks ago, and the video itself turn me away from the song. Okay- Maybe if I hear the song one last time, I'll be over it for sure. However, I wasn't over the song, I soon realized the terrible revelation. I like the song! But how can I like a song by Miley Cyrus? I'm sure there is some sort of explanation. It's a sad day when I like a trashy dance song that talks about "Molly." Well I have to go, I will listen to "We Can't Stop", one last time... I hope. Save me!

When I began listening to K-Pop, 2ne1 was my favorite girl group. I eventually started liking other groups as well. One group that I stumbled upon was Brown Eyed Girls. I really started listening to them after Psy's video "Gentleman" because Ga-in, one of the members, appeared in the video. One song that I'm still loving from them is "Abracadabra." I have been eagerly waiting for their comeback single after listening to their older music. "Recipe" is their newest single, and Miryo's rapping in the song is amazing! Her voice is like no other. The beat to the song is very smooth and sounds similar to a 70s disco hit with a modern twist. After reading the English lyrics to the song, I think the song is about a woman pleasing a man. Think of it as a Destiny's Child "Cater 2 You" type of song. I also believe the song is about allowing a man to open up more and the only way of doing this is by showing love and catering to him. I posted a video with the English lyrics to see your take of the song's meaning.
The MTV reality show Catfish has become one of my favorite shows. The series gives people the chance to meet the real person they have been dating online for the first time in, and usually the person they meet is far from what they expected. The show has changed the way that people have looked at online dating making them thing twice before adding random people on Facebook. Of course some of the stories seem far stretched and avoidable (like being engaged with someone you never met) but the crazy thing is, it could happen to anyone. Even you. After watching the show, and using this thing called common sense, we've piled together a fool proof way to see if your dream guy is as real as he says he is.
1. You're dating a model
|My BF is an A&F model and looks just like Trey Songz!|
2. Can never meet
Is your dream guy always dropping out of dates and cancelling meetups? If he's always cancelling or something comes up, ask him what's up. Is he really busy, or is he hiding something from you?
Since we are both in the communications field of study, I'm majoring in Broadcast Journalism and Tara is majoring in Communication, I sometimes wonder which celebrities started off as journalists. Believe it or not, many actors went to school and majored in journalism or communications. Although they're not working as news anchor, take a look at some actors who had a different passion before hitting the big screen.
|LR: Dara, Bom, Minzy, and CL. 2NE1 is back with their new comeback single!|
It's been a long time coming, but 2NE1 is here with a new comeback single! The song, called Falling in Love, dropped Sunday with a new video. I've been eagerly waiting to hear my bias group comeback with new music, but once I heard this song I was disappointed.
Janelle Monáe has released the video to the second single off her upcoming album. In the Dance Apocalyptic video, Janelle lets her hair down and dons an all white outfit while performing on a American Bandstand like show. As the song continues, news breaks that fires have started over the world and zombies are on rampage.
Being a human guinea pig is also another way to earn some extra money to go towards school bills. Clinical studies and lab tests all around the world seek participants to join in their studies for compensation. Studies could be anything from watching you when you sleep to seeing how a new drug affects you. Of course, this is a choice that should be thought about long and hard before making a commitment.
